Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the well-known Gabonese striker has wrapped up an amazing season with Al-Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League. After joining the club in July 2024 Aubameyang quickly became one of their best players making 32 appearances and scoring 17 goals in league matches. His performance helped Al-Qadsiah keep up with top teams like Al-Nassr. Even though he did really good, the club wants to trade Aubameyang for a younger striker which many people think is a pretty risky move.

  • Al-Qadsiah has decided they want to swap Aubameyang for a younger striker.
  • Aubameyang scored 17 goals in 32 league appearances for Al-Qadsiah.
  • The club made this choice cause they want to make their team younger.

Aubameyang’s Return to Olympique de Marseille

Now that Aubameyang’s leaving Al-Qadsiah, he’s going to go back to Olympique de Marseille. This move comes after he played really well for a year in Saudi Arabia. He had left Marseille before because they didn’t make it into European competitions but now he’s coming back which should help make their team stronger with all his experience and ability to score goals.

Since he’s played in big European leagues like Borussia Dortmund Arsenal and Chelsea, Aubameyang knows what he’s doing. Having him back at Marseille is going to make their team better and give them more options.

Al-Qadsiah’s Strategic Shift

Al-Qadsiah letting Aubameyang go is part of their plan to get younger players on their team. They want to do good in the Saudi Pro League and think this will help. Players like Julián Quiñones who’s been doing really well shows why they’re making these changes. Quiñones scoring lots of goals has helped Al-Qadsiah stay in the top four teams of the league.
