For Al-Hilal losing Mitrović means they gotta change their attack. The club has Mohammed Al-Shalhoub as temporary manager right now and they’re trying to change how the team works. They might try to get Liverpool’s Darwin Núñez which shows they want to keep winning games.
Mitrović’s Career Highlights
At 30 years old Mitrović has played really good football showing how good he is in different leagues. He’s played at places like Partizan Belgrade, Anderlecht and Fulham where he did really well. When he was at Newcastle United he also showed everyone he was a really good striker.
While he was at Al-Hilal people said he was really good at scoring goals but we don’t know exactly how many. Him leaving is part of what’s happening now where lots of famous players are going to Middle Eastern clubs for good money and chances to play lots of games.
Al-Rayyan’s Strategic Vision
Al-Rayyan getting Mitrović shows they really want to be the best team in their area. They gave him a contract until 2028 which means they’re serious about scoring more goals. This is how things are going in Middle Eastern leagues now where they can get really good players to come play for them.
Mitrović moving there shows how football’s changing where players don’t just think about playing in Europe anymore. You can see this happening with other clubs like Al-Qadsiah who’ve done really well in the Saudi Pro League.
