Al-Kholood’s newly appointed head coach, Cosmin Contra is facing some problems just two weeks after starting his job. The Romanian-Spanish manager who’s known for his tactics and using 4-2-3-1 formation was supposed to help steady the club. But now that Al-Kholood got bought by Ben Harburg who’s connected to MSA Capital there’s questions about if Contra will stay. Training that was meant to happen today got pushed to tomorrow which isn’t great for getting the team ready for when the new season starts.

  • Ben Harburg buying the club has changed how things are run at Al-Kholood.
  • Cosmin Contra might lose his job cause of new management coming in.
  • Training getting delayed means the team ain’t as prepared as they should be.

Management Changes at Al-Kholood

Since Ben Harburg bought Al-Kholood, things are real different with how the club’s being run. Maybe getting rid of Cosmin Contra shows how bad they want quick results in the tough Saudi Pro League. It’s kind of like what happened at Al-Hilal where they switched Jorge Jesus for club legend Mohammed Al-Shalhoub as temporary manager.

Harburg thinking about replacing Contra so quick shows there’s a lot of pressure to do good and make the club bigger in world football. What’s happening at Al-Kholood is like a small version of all the manager changes in the Saudi Pro League where clubs are trying real hard to get big names to make themselves look better worldwide.

Implications for the Saudi Pro League

What’s going on at Al-Kholood shows how the Saudi Pro League is getting more competitive and getting noticed worldwide. You can see it with Al-Qadsiah doing better cause of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang playing for them. While Al-Kholood deals with their manager problems what Ben Harburg decides to do could really change how good the club does and where they end up in the league.

This is definitely something to keep watching as the season goes on. You can really see how much pressure there is to do good and how bad they want to be known in international football. If you wanna know more about recent manager changes check out:
