Al-Ahli’s Strategic Moves
Al-Ahli did good in the AFC Champions League cause they got some really good players. They got Riyad Mahrez who was amazing at Manchester City and Roberto Firmino who’s really creative and used to play for Liverpool. These guys plus Ivan Toney and Edouard Mendy make the team really strong and ready to do well in international games.
How are you finding the Club World Cup so far?
Honestly, it’s been kinda fun to watch. Some matches legit feel like a mini World Cup. You get that big-stage tension — and the quality ain’t bad either.
Just hope FIFA don’t mess it up by adding too many teams in 2029. We want real clashes, not fillers.
By the way, Al-Ahli already locked their spot after winning the ACL last season. And for sure, we’ll see more than one Saudi club there next time 👀 🇸🇦
What about you — are you vibing with this tournament or think it’s just another headache in the crazy club calendar?
