Norwich star is a ‘top target’ for Champions League juggernauts this summer

Norwich held off interest for their star right-back Max Aarons last summer, with the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United showing interest, but they may struggle to do so this summer with the European champions in for the 21-year-old.

According to a report via the Mail, Bayern Munich are keen to load their squad with emerging talent and Aarons has been a long-time target, and having just secured a deal for RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano, the Canaries star could be next.

If Norwich do secure promotion to the Premier League it may make the deal much more difficult and lucrative, but it seems certain he’ll leave should they stay in the Championship for another season.

With a contract until 2024, Aarons is likely to be one of the more expensive deals the Championship has ever seen – if Bayern are serious about the transfer.
