Norwich leading Wolves in-race to sign Championship striker on a free transfer deal
Premier League strugglers Norwich City are already eyeing bargain players ahead of the summer transfer window, possibly with one eye on recruiting for the Championship next season.
According to a story reported by Telegraph journalist Mike McGrath via Read Norwich, Reading striker Danny Loader is being lined-up for a move to the Canaries in the summer, with the player available on a free transfer due to his contract running down.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were also showing interest in January, but it’s Norwich who are continuing to be the most ‘vocal’ in wanting to sign the 19-year-old.
Loader has scored just one goal this season in the FA Cup, despite making 12 senior appearances for the Royals this season.
