Newly-promoted West Brom push West Ham to sell attacker to them for £18m

West Bromwich Albion are looking to splash the cash before the Premier League kicks-off, with a move for a former player who is currently back at parent club West Ham United.

The report in the Guardian claims that WBA want to re-sign Grady Diangana, this time on a permanent deal, after the 22-year-old impressed on-lian for the Baggies’ promotion back to the top-flight.

The deal would be worth up to £18million with add-ons potentially to come down the line.

Diangana rose through the academy at the Hammers, and could have played a part in east London, considering he scored eight times in the Championship as a winger last season.

West Ham, according to the report, would use the money to finance a deal for Brentford’s Saïd Benrahma to bolster their own attacking needs.
