Napoli boss Gennaro Gattuso reportedly wants to sign West Ham’s star playmaker
Italian giants Napoli are looking at a rebuild in the next transfer window and are reportedly targeting a swoop for Brazilian midfield playmaker Felipe Anderson from West Ham United – according to the Daily Mail.
Anderson arrived from Italian side Lazio and as such Napoli feel that the midfielder would be able to slot back into Serie A without too much time to adjust.
Having had an excellent debut season with 10 goals and five assists, it’s not been quite the same this term, with just one goal scored but again finding five assists for the Hammers, in a season that is threatened with relegation.
Napoli however, will find it tough to prize Anderson away from east London, with the 26-year-old still having two years on his deal and the Italian side not being flush with funds unless they sell off some of their prized assets, such as Kalidou Koulibaly.
