Manchester United and Spurs eye bid for £25m-rated Fulham loanee
Manchester United and Tottenham are two clubs in the mix this summer to recruit a new starting centre-back and with some heavily inflated prices going around, the Premier League duo have cast eyes on a more ‘budget friendly’ alternative.
Fulham’s loanee defender and Danish international Joachim Andersen is valued by his club Lyon at around £25million.
The 24-year-old has been one of the standout players for the Cottagers since establishing himself as first choice back in November 2020, but he’s unlikely to stay beyond the summer with the club deep in relegation trouble.
Lyon are one of many clubs in Europe that is looking to raise funds have a troublesome year financially, according to the Metro, and are likely to be open to business should a United or Tottenham come calling for Andersen.
