Man Utd target ‘ideal’ England striker and it’s not Harry Kane
Manchester United are once again looking to signing a new striker this summer, according to the Sun, and it’s an England striker who is topping the shortlist – but it’s not Harry Kane.
Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the latest name to be linked to an Old Trafford switch, with the 24-year-old viewed as the ideal, long-term and affordable replacement to Edinson Cavani.
Whether or not this is a move that could happen this summer remains to be seen, but the departure of Carlo Ancelotti could see Dominic Calvert-Lewin think about his own future – however, United have splashed out on Jadon Sancho and are now looking to sign a new defender.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored 21 goals last season, the same amount as United’s own Marcus Rashford.
