Manchester United are reportedly treating their approach to the next transfer window, be it at the start of the summer or a little later down the line, the same as previously and are intent on singing one of three top targets.

Those three transfer targets, according to the Manchester Evening News are, James Maddison at Leicester, Jadon Sancho at Dortmund and Jack Grealish at Aston Villa.

The report states that United have ‘touched base’ with Aston Villa regarding the availability of Jack Grealish, with the Midlands club currently sitting 19th in the table.

However, to sign one of these players they are likely to offload Paul Pogba who would likely target a return to Juventus or a move to Real Madrid – but both leagues’ countries are currently badly affected by the pandemic sweeping the globe.

It’s expected clubs will get their transfer plans rolling once the season restart date is official, but until then putting plans into place is seemingly the most that clubs like Manchester United can do.
