Manchester United identify £50m deal with relegation threatened rival’s

Manchester United are looking to potentially take full advantage if fellow-Premier League side Fulham drop back into the Championship, with eyes at Old Trafford looking to Ryan Sessegnon.

The 18-year old has struggled for regular game-time under Claudio Ranieri and the club’s poor form throughout the season hasn’t helped in giving Sessegnon the platform to showcase his undoubted talent, which was clearly on-case in the promotion last season.

With 18 months left on Ryan Sessegnon’s current contract, and a looming return to the second-tier of English football, the left-sided attacker could look to end his affiliation with the club and remain in the Premier League – Manchester United are supposedly interested.

Fulham were not keen on interest when they were in the Championship for Ryan Sessegnon, with Tottenham linked heavily with the player, however Manchester United could have the leverage with potential relegation and questions over a contract renewal – with the Express stating that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side may bid around £50 million to bring him to the club.

United are likely to be linked with a number of players for each position leading up the summer and while a move for Ryan Sessegnon may never materialise, it appears that the Premier League is where the 18-year old wants to be and stay.
