The New York Red Bulls are making big moves in the transfer market as they try to get RB Leipzig’s forward, Timo Werner. The club is talking right now to bring the German international to Major League Soccer (MLS), according to what Tom Bogert said on Twitter. But there’s a big problem – Werner wants more money than what the Red Bulls want to pay. Even with this issue negotiations are still going on cause the Red Bulls really want to make their attack better with a player like Werner.

  • The Red Bulls are trying to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
  • Salary demands are causing problems in the talks.
  • Getting Werner would make the Red Bulls attack much stronger.

Red Bulls’ Big Move for Werner

The New York Red Bulls really want to get Timo Werner who’s playing for RB Leipzig right now. Werner, who played 57 times for Germany was at Tottenham Hotspur for like a year and a half. When he was in the Premier League he showed he was super fast and could score goals but like sometimes he was good sometimes not so much. Leipzig wants to pay less money to players so they told Werner he can’t stay there anymore so now he needs a new team.

Werner’s Career and What He Could Do in MLS

If Werner comes to MLS it would be pretty different from playing in the big European leagues but the American league is getting better all the time. It’s kinda like how Kevin De Bruyne might go to Chicago Fire. These big players coming shows how MLS is getting more popular and better. If Werner comes it could make more people watch MLS just like they think De Bruyne will.

Problems with the Deal and What’s Next

The biggest problem right now is that Werner wants more money than what the Red Bulls can give him. But the team still really wants to get good players to join them. Everyone who likes soccer is watching to see if the Red Bulls can actually sign this big player.
