They’re in 8th place in the Eastern Conference right now and getting Werner could really help them move up. The Red Bulls are showing they mean business in the transfer market and getting someone like Werner would be huge for them. They’re talking to RB Leipzig and even though nothing’s done yet everyone’s feeling good about getting it done this summer.

Werner who’s 29 is like super fast and can play anywhere up front. He won some big stuff like the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021 and won a cup with Leipzig in 2023. When he was at Tottenham he also got a Europa League trophy. He’s played 57 times for Germany which is pretty impressive and could really help the Red Bulls score more goals.
MLS’s Growing Appeal to European Stars
Werner maybe coming to MLS is kinda like what other big European players are doing now. The league is getting better and more popular and players like Kevin De Bruyne might go to Chicago Fire too. It shows how the MLS is getting more interesting for players from other countries who want to try something new. If Werner and other big names come over it could make the league even more popular around the world.
