The New York Red Bulls are looking to beef up their squad by trying to sign two young players. Polish forward Wiktor Bogacz and Chilean left-back Marcelo Morales are who they’re going after, showing the Red Bulls want to make their team stronger for next season.

  • Red Bulls are close to getting Polish youth player Wiktor Bogacz.
  • They’re talking with Chilean left-back Marcelo Morales right now.
  • These new players would bring some young energy to the team.

Wiktor Bogacz: A Versatile Forward

The New York Red Bulls are pretty much ready to sign Wiktor Bogacz who’s a Polish youth player that can play as both a striker and left wing. He’s really tall at 1.93 meters and has been doing good in Poland’s second division with Miedz Legnica. Even though he’s only 20, he’s already scored three goals and helped with two more this season. People think he’s worth about €2.00 million. The Red Bulls want him cause they think young players like him can help them win games just like other teams have done in MLS.

Marcelo Morales: Defensive Reinforcement

For defense, the Red Bulls are trying to get Marcelo Morales, who plays for Chile’s national team as a left-back. The guy is 21 and plays for Universidad de Chile, where he’s been really good in Chile’s top league, scoring once and setting up three goals in 27 games during 2024. His contract’s gonna run out at the end of the year so the Red Bulls think they can get him. He’s worth about €2.20 million, and getting him would help them have more options on the left side.

Strategic Vision for the Future

Getting Bogacz and Morales shows how the New York Red Bulls are trying to do good in MLS. They want young players who could be really good, which means they might win now and later too. They’re doing this while lots of teams are changing coaches and stuff in MLS, which shows how things keep changing in the league. The Red Bulls going after these two players shows they really want to build a team that can win lots of games.
