Los Angeles FC (LAFC) is pretty much got Canadian national team midfielder Mathieu Choiniere from Grasshopper Club Zurich. Since LAFC owns Grasshopper, its making the deal easier and gonna help Choiniere play more in MLS. He really wants this move cause it could help him get into Canada’s team for the 2026 World Cup.

Choiniere is 26 and can play different positions, plus he’s played 16 games for Canada’s senior team. He used to play at CF Montreal before going to Grasshopper which shows how good he’s getting. With MLS getting lots of good players, having Choiniere at LAFC could be great for him and make their midfield better.
