Marco Reus thinks he might be able to play in the MLS Cup even though he’s got a groin injury that’s been bothering him. The LA Galaxy player had to come off at half time last weekend because of it but he’s still pretty hopeful he can play in this big match. LA Galaxy really needs Reus to play especially since some other important players are out injured.

Reus’s Transition from Bundesliga to MLS
Marco Reus, the German midfielder who everyone knows came to LA Galaxy in 2024 when his contract with Borussia Dortmund ended. Since he moved to Major League Soccer (MLS) he’s brought all his years of playing experience with him. Everyone knows him for how good he is with the ball and how he sees the game, and he did really good things at his old club Dortmund. This season he’s played 8 games and got 1 goal for LA Galaxy which is part of his new journey in American soccer.

Having big name players like Reus and Lionel Messi in MLS shows how the league is getting bigger worldwide. The MLS Cup that’s coming up and teams like Inter Miami playing in things like the FIFA Club World Cup shows that American soccer is getting better and more interesting to people.
