LA Galaxy has made a big move by bringing in Ravi Ramineni as the Director of Quantitative Analysis to help improve their data stuff. After doing great work with the Seattle Sounders Ramineni is gonna bring his analytics knowledge to make things better in Major League Soccer (MLS).
- Ramineni’s gonna be in charge of all the data projects at LA Galaxy.

Getting Ravi Ramineni as Director of Quantitative Analysis is really important for LA Galaxy. He’s gonna work on making things better with performance analysis and planning with the High Performance team Coaching Staff and Soccer Operations. The team wants to use more analytics to do better in MLS.

When Ramineni worked with Seattle Sounders from 2012 to 2021 they did really good. His work with numbers helped the team win a lot including two MLS Cups and a Supporters Shield. He started as Sports Scientist & Performance Analyst and ended up being Vice President of Soccer Analytics and Research.
