- Since January 2021 he’s been really important for LAFC’s defense.
- This move looks real good for making Juárez’s team better.
Murillo’s Transfer to Juárez
Jesús David Murillo who’s a Colombian center-back, is like super close to joining Juárez according to what César Luis Merlo said on Twitter. He plays pretty rough sometimes and has been really important at LAFC, where he played like 25 games in the 2024 MLS season and got in trouble with seven yellow cards and one red card. Everyone thinks he’s gonna make Juárez’s defense way better.

Murillo’s Football Journey
He was born in Cali Colombia and has played a lot of football, like he used to be with Independiente Medellín and Deportivo Pasto before he went to Los Angeles FC. People say he’s worth about €2.50 million which is pretty good money in transfers. His LAFC contract runs out end of 2024 so it’s like perfect timing for Juárez to get him now.

Trends in International Transfers
What Murillo’s doing is kinda like what lots of other players are doing moving between different countries, and it shows how MLS is getting bigger and better. It’s like that other big transfer that happened with a player going from Inter Miami to New England Revolution which shows how players keep moving around in MLS a lot.
