Javier Mascherano is gonna become the new manager of Inter Miami, getting back together with Lionel Messi at the MLS club. This happens after his time as Argentina U20 coach with Diego Placente taking his old job.

Inter Miami is about to officially say Javier Mascherano is their new head coach. It’s a big deal for the club and the Argentine legend. Mascherano who played with Lionel Messi at FC Barcelona and with Argentina knows a lot about the game. This move will probably make the team better at Inter Miami since him and Messi already know how to work together really good from before.

Challenges and Expectations in the MLS
Going from coaching Argentina’s U20 team to running a big MLS club like Inter Miami is gonna be different for Mascherano. The team did good under Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino last season they broke some records and won the Supporters Shield but then lost early in playoffs. Mascherano’s gotta change his ideas for MLS and make the defense better since they let in 49 goals last season! His experience will help keep the team strong especially with Messi there.
Diego Placente Steps Into a New Role
Since Mascherano’s going to Miami Diego Placente is now the new coach for Argentina U20. Placente used to be a left-back and he’s coached Argentina’s U15 and U17 teams before. He likes using a 4-2-3-1 setup and knows a lot about tactics which will help develop young Argentine players. This is like a new chapter for Argentina’s youth teams building on what Mascherano did before.
