Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino says he’s going to take a break from coaching and isn’t sure what’s next. He quit being Inter Miami’s head coach after a pretty rough season, even though there was some good stuff like when Lionel Messi showed up and changed everything.

  • Martino’s taking some months off from being a manager
  • He left Inter Miami after a season that had its ups and downs
  • Javier Mascherano is going to be the new coach at Inter Miami

Martino’s Influence at Inter Miami

While he was at Inter Miami Martino was there when Messi came which really changed how the team played even though the season was kind of tough. Now that he’s stepping away, Martino can think about what he wants to do next in football. He’s pretty good at what he does and has done a lot of stuff like making Atlanta United really good and running the Paraguay and Argentina teams.

Now that he’s gone Inter Miami is going to have Javier Mascherano take over what Martino started. Even though Martino might come back to coaching someday he’s definitely left his mark on the game and changed a lot of things.

A Legacy of Excellence

In his whole career Martino’s been really good at fitting in and doing well wherever he goes. He’s done good stuff all over the place like at FC Barcelona and Atlanta United. Now that he’s taking a break everyone in football is wondering where he’ll end up next and what he’ll do with all his knowledge.
