Challenges and Prospects Ahead
As Mascherano gets ready to take over at Inter Miami he’s got to figure out how to deal with MLS which is different than what he knows. His experience from playing at big clubs like Barcelona and Liverpool will definitely help him out. The time he spent coaching Argentina’s Under-20s including getting them ready for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games has helped him learn the ropes.
The next MLS season is going to show if he can be as good at coaching as he was at playing. With games coming up both in America and internationally Mascherano’s going to need to show he can handle all these different challenges.
