Morales who came up through Atlanta United’s academy, is pretty good at defense and people think he could be really special. Moving to CF Montréal looks like a smart move for everyone involved because it’ll make their defense stronger.
George Campbell’s Move to West Brom
While Morales is coming in George Campbell is heading out to West Bromwich Albion. Campbell who can play both in the middle and on the right of defense, played 116 games for CF Montréal and Atlanta United altogether. Going to West Brom is like, a big deal for him because now he gets to play in Europe.
Nobody knows how much money was involved in the deal. Campbell’s gonna play with Daryl Dike who’s also from MLS at West Brom, they ended up ninth in the EFL Championship last year.
Atlanta United’s Season Struggles
Atlanta United isn’t doing so hot in 2025, they’ve only won twice in ten games which is pretty bad. Their manager Ronny Deila is feeling the heat to fix things. Letting Morales go is part of how they’re trying to sort out their problems and use their players better.
