In what came as a shock to many Atlanta United is trying to sign Middlesbrough forward Emmanuel Latte Lath. Tom Bogert posted on Twitter that Atlanta United’s offer might set a new record in Major League Soccer (MLS) for transfer fees! This possible signing shows how MLS is becoming more attractive to players from around the world, kind of like when Leonardo Campana moved from Inter Miami to New England Revolution which was another big deal for the league.

Emmanuel Latte Lath who’s from Ivory Coast and plays as a striker, came to Middlesbrough FC in August 2023 from Atalanta. People think he’s worth about €10 million as of late 2024.
