Liverpool star will stay ‘another four, five, six years’ claims ex-teammate
Liverpool fans will be happy to hear former defender Dejan Lovren claim that his best friend Mohamed Salah is likely to stay at Anfield for years to come.
According to a talkSPORT interview with Lovren, the now Zenit Saint Petersburg captain told the radio show that Salah could easily stay for up to six more years;
“I’m still in communication with Mo Salah. We are still the best buddies, even outside football, and we talk about everything.”
“Mo is in the best age of his football career at 28. Maybe he looks a bit older but he’s in the peak of his form so why not stay another four, five, six years?”
Despite Liverpool’s title challenge faltering due to a dramatic drop in-form, Salah is the Premier League’s top scorer this season with 16 goals, three ahead of second-place Harry Kane.
