Liverpool are reportedly no longer the frontrunners to sign a prolific goalscorer this season, with Premier League rivals West Ham United now leading the chase.

According to a report via the Liverpool Echo, RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka, who has scored 34 times this season is wanted at West Ham to spearhead their Europa League charge and would be prepared to pay the £25million asking price.

Liverpool had been heavily linked with the 22-year-old Zambian international, but West Ham are leading the charge to get a deal done fast.
