Liverpool reportedly lead Leeds in race for Scottish starlet’s signature
Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool are leading Leeds in a bid to convince a promising Scottish defender that his future is at Anfield.
Motherwell’s teenage starlet Sam Campbell will tour Liverpool’s training facilities ahead of a potential move, after he was given permission to do by club Motherwell – according to Football Insider.
The 16-year-old defender will also reportedly visit Elland Road in the coming weeks, with Campbell yet to make up his mind on where the next years of his career are best served.
The defender is yet to make a senior appearance for Motherwell, but visiting scouts are seemingly excited by what they’ve seen at youth level.
