In some pretty big news for Ligue 1, Racing de Strasbourg has managed to sign Argentine striker Joaquín Panichelli from Deportivo Alavés. The French club put down €16 million to get the 22-year-old forward who they think will really help their attack. He’s known to be really physical and good at scoring goals and Panichelli is coming to France on Sunday to sign his five-year deal.

Panichelli started at River Plate where he got really good before coming to Europe. He did really well at Alavés and when he was on loan at Mirandés he scored like 20 goals in 40 games which was amazing. Now he’s moving up to one of the best leagues in Europe which is huge for him.
