Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) got a super exciting 2-1 win over Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League semifinal on May 7, 2025 and now they’re going to the final! With Luis Enrique leading them PSG has shown amazing teamwork and really smart gameplay throughout. Players like Fabián Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi were really important in this win with Ruiz getting his first Champions League goal after 46 games which is pretty incredible.

PSG’s Path to the Final
PSG’s road to the Champions League final has been really impressive with Luis Enrique showing how good he is at managing. He already proved himself when he got Barcelona to win three trophies in 2014/15, and now he’s made PSG super strong. In the game against Arsenal, Fabián Ruiz got them started with a goal and Achraf Hakimi was amazing the whole game showing what the team can do.

Arsenal’s Valiant Effort
Arsenal tried really hard but couldn’t quite do it even with Mikel Arteta leading them. They started really strong and had Mikel Merino playing up front to try and mess up PSG’s defense. Bukayo Saka scored with like 15 minutes left to make it closer but then missed a big chance to tie it up. Arsenal did really good in the Champions League this year though and showed they can compete with anyone.
Looking Ahead to the Final
PSG is gonna play Inter Milan in the Champions League final on May 31, 2025 in Munich. This could be when Luis Enrique and his team finally get PSG their first Champions League trophy ever! The team has gotten so much better with Enrique and they’ve shown they can play with the best teams out there. Everyone who loves football can’t wait to see this huge game and PSG might just make some history.
