Botafogo getting to the Round of 16 shows how tough they are and how smart they play. With Renato Paiva running things the team got through a really hard group stage and they were really good at defending and playing smart. Atlético de Madrid’s Group Stage Exit
Atlético de Madrid with Diego Simeone in charge shockingly got knocked out in the group stage. Even though they got good players like Antoine Griezmann and Alexander Sørloth the team couldn’t make it to the next round. Nobody expected this to happen which shows you never know what’s gonna happen in these competitions and it’s really disappointing for the club.
