Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is having like an amazing season with Luis Enrique in charge, and the club is doing stuff nobody thought possible, including winning the UEFA Champions League. Enrique cares more about how the team does instead of individual players showing off, which is why PSG is doing so good, because he believes everyone should work together.

  • PSG got themselves a domestic treble winning Ligue 1, the French Super Cup and the French Cup.
  • The club is going to probably win the Club World Cup too which would make it five trophies.
  • People are saying Enrique is as good as managers like Pep Guardiola cause of how smart he is with tactics.

Enrique’s Impact on PSG

Since Luis Enrique came PSG has gotten really really good at European football. He likes his team to keep the ball a lot and press high up the field, and it worked cause they won three trophies in 2024-2025. They also finally won the UEFA Champions League which is like super important for both PSG and for Enrique.

Enrique doesn’t care about individual awards and stuff, he just wants the team to do good together. He even said once “I don’t believe in individual awards…still less for a coach.” This way of thinking helped PSG beat Inter Milan 5-0 in the Champions League which was pretty impressive.

Enrique’s Managerial Journey

Before he came to PSG Luis Enrique was at FC Barcelona where he did really good winning lots of La Liga titles and the Champions League. He also coached Spain’s national team which makes him even more experienced. When he decided to come to PSG it was to help them get better at European competitions.

The way Enrique does things reminds people of Pep Guardiola. He knows how to get his team ready for big games and knows how to make them believe in themselves.

PSG’s Future Prospects

With Enrique in charge PSG might win the Club World Cup which would give them five trophies this season. If they do that it would be like the best season they ever had and people would remember Enrique as one of the best managers ever.
