Born in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, Koné stands at 1.88 meters and can play across various midfield positions, including defensive and attacking roles. His contract with Watford FC extends until June 30, 2027, with a market value of €11.00 million as of May 2024.

Koné’s career began at the Saint-Laurent Soccer Club before moving to CF Montréal. He transferred to Watford FC on January 1, 2023, for a fee of €8,000,000. Internationally, Koné has made 19 appearances for the Canadian national team, scoring two goals.
