Leicester’s English ace wanted by Benfica and Marseille in the summer window
Leicester are facing a growing dilemma over the future of their pacy English winger Demarai Gray, whose contract is up at the end of the season.
According to a report in the Sun, Gray does not want to renew his contract with the Foxes and is now free as of today, January 1st, to discuss a pre-contract with a new club.
There’s no shortage of takers, with Marseille and Benfica two of the standout clubs keen on Gray, while Monaco are another named by the report, along with Bundesliga clubs monitoring the situation.
The 24-year-old has made just two senior appearances for Leicester this season and has seemingly been largely frozen out due to his contract situation.
