Leicester will have to spend £50m to land Schmeichel replacement
Kasper Schmeichel’s future at Leicester is up in the air, with the 35-year-old Dane’s contract up next year and rumours of a summer exit growing.
Leicester have been strongly linked with an eye-watering swoop for Premier League rival Brighton’s goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, but he would likely cost the Foxes up to £50million.
However, despite the links to the Spanish international stopper in the Telegraph, journalist John Percy followed up with a social media post indicating that there’s ‘no chance’ of Leicesr meeting that price-tag:
£50m valuation on Sanchez – no chance of this happening. Funds are restricted as said before.

Potentially cheaper options could be relegated Burnley’s Nick Pope and Manchester United’s Dean Henderson.
