Leicester join Leeds in race to sign Welsh international attacker
Leicester City are reportedly emerging as a frontrunner to sign Manchester United’s Welsh international Daniel James, who is also a long-time target for Leeds United.
The report via Caughtoffside suggests a successful bid is conditional on United signing a replacement such as Jadon Sancho, and it would likely be a loan to buy deal.
The 23-year-old’s presence at Old Trafford has diminished after an early burst of form, and with more incomings expected this summer it’s an outgoing that’s expected and Leicester could be the ideal fit.
Leicester’s fast transitional play, combined with Europa League football looks an attractive fit, but Leeds have the pull of having shown a lot of interest in the past seasons.
