Leeds unfazed by £25million price-tag for Championship striker
Leeds have had to endure a first half of a Premier League season ravaged by injuries and for many weeks without a first-choice striker, due to Patrick Bamford’s unavailability.
Now Leeds are looking to a soon-opening transfer window and to the Championship, for Blackburn’s star goalscorer Ben Brereton Diaz.
The 22-year-old has bagged an impressed 17 goals in 21 appearances this season for the Lancashire-based club, and with three goals for Chile, the striker is hot property and Leeds will be hoping he wants to make a step-up in January.
However, a report via the Sun claims Blackburn would demand a fee around £25million for Ben Brereton Diaz – a fee that doesn’t seem to be putting off the struggling Premier League side.
