Leeds make first ‘enquiry’ to the availability of highly-rated Norwich midfielder
Leeds United have been an ‘enquiry’ and nothing more at this stage for one of Norwich’s highly-rated midfielders, with Read Norwich reporting that the Championship side are keen to open an initial dialogue about a transfer.
Emi Buendia, 23, has made a very decent impact at Carrow Road, despite being bottom of the Premier League. The former Getafe midfielder currently has seven top-flight assists to his name, and has been one of few key figures in the Canaries side.
Buendia has been touted for a transfer to a club a tier up, if relegation is confirmed, so whether Leeds potentially swapping places in the Premier League, would be ‘the move’ he wants remains to be seen.
Argentine Marcelo Bielsa’s would likely be instrumental in persuading Emi Buendia to Elland Road, should this transfer rumour be true, and if Leeds finally do end their long-awaited return to England’s top-flight.
