Leeds keen on Liverpool duo with Bielsa desperate to land reinforcements

Leeds United will travel to Liverpool for their first Premier League fixture in September and a report in the Mirror claims that the promoted side want to make the Reds two players lighter before kick-off.

The Yorkshire club want to sign strikers Divock Origi and Rhian Brewster, the latter on-loan as the club struggle to land their top goal scoring targets.

The report states that manager Marcelo Bielsa wants Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard but the finances involved, as well as competition from elsewhere is making the transfer tricky to finalise.

Origi had to settle for another season as a substitute for Liverpool, making over 40 appearances. Brewster has a scintillating second-half of the season on-loan at Swansea City, scoring 10 Championship goals.
