Leeds hope scouting pays off as Marcelo Bielsa demands £20m signing
Leeds United have reportedly been tracking a potential summer recruit for all the second half of the season, and are set to move to see if they can land a deal for a promising striker.
According to a report in the Mirror, Stuttgart’s Argentine striker Nicolas Gonzalez is desperately wanted by Leeds’ Marcelo Bielsa, with the manager wanting proven fire-power for the Premier League.
The 22-year-old scored 14 times to help Stuttgart back to the Bundesliga after floundering in the second division.
Leeds though are facing competition to land the coveted striker, with Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Napoli all said to be keen on a transfer deal of their own.
