Leeds handed transfer boost with potential ‘clear path’ to sign former MLS striker

Leeds United have been handed a potential boost to their transfer wishlist, with a report via Leeds Live claiming that former MLS and current Zulte Waregem striker Cyle Larin will be available.

The 24-year-old Canadian international is currently plying his trade in Belgium, on-loan from Turkish club Besiktas, and has netted just nine times in 33 appearances, but has chipped in with 11 assists.

Leeds reportedly have designs on signing the striker who was a regular goalscorer during his spell with Orlando City in MLS, scoring 44 in 89, with eight assists.

Zulte Waregem apparently have an option to sign Larin for just €2.5 million from Besiktas, but the report claims they are moving away from taking up that option, opening up a clear path for Leeds to swoop on a striker they are being heavily linked to.
