Strategic Vision for Sevilla
Getting Almeyda to come coach is part of what Sevilla wants to do to make the team better. Antonio Cordón who’s the new sports director at Sevilla really likes that Almeyda has coached in different countries and knows about the club already. They want Almeyda to help change things around build a good team and make everyone play together better. Sevilla’s having some money problems and isn’t doing great in games right now but they think Almeyda can help them do better in La Liga and when they play in Europe.
What’s Going On In Football
Almeyda coming to Sevilla is happening while lots of other coaches are changing teams too. Like the Brazilian Football people trying to get Carlo Ancelotti and Abel Ferreira shows how hard it is to get good coaches these days. And Al-Hilal just changed their coach too which shows how things keep changing in football coaching.
