Real Madrid pulled off an amazing 3-2 win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium which puts them in a great spot for the Champions League Round of 16. Even though Erling Haaland scored twice for City with one from the penalty spot Real Madrid’s comeback was just too much. Kylian Mbappe got the equalizer, Brahim Diaz scored after Ederson messed up and Jude Bellingham got the winner right at the end to win it for the Spanish team.

Real Madrid’s manager Carlo Ancelotti said after that this was “like a modern classic” showing just how big the rivalry is between these teams.

Carragher’s Criticism and City’s Challenge

Jamie Carragher who talks about football on TV was really angry about Manchester City fans showing a banner that made fun of Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. He said it was “absolutely ridiculous” which just made everything more tense between the teams. Carragher also said he doesn’t think City can win at the Santiago Bernabeu cause they keep having problems in Champions League specially letting in late goals.
