Keylor Navas has decided to not join Pumas UNAM even though the Mexican club really wanted him. The Costa Rican keeper who’s won three UEFA Champions League titles with Real Madrid is now with Newell’s Old Boys after leaving Nottingham Forest. Pumas who wanted Navas for their Apertura 2025 campaign might look at Esteban Andrada instead to be their keeper.

Potential Reunions and Future Prospects
If Navas would have said yes to Pumas, he could’ve played with Sergio Ramos again who used to be with him at Real Madrid and is now playing for Monterrey in Liga MX. That possible reunion made the transfer rumors even more interesting. Right now Navas is still at Newell’s Old Boys and everyone’s waiting to see where he goes next.
