Gilberto Mora has become one of the most exciting players in Mexican football really quick. Mora played in all six of Tijuana’s matches and scored three goals. Plus he got two goals in the Leagues Cup which shows how good he is at scoring.

People noticed what Mora can do when he became the youngest player ever to play for the Mexico Senior Team in the 2025 Gold Cup quarterfinals, and he even scored his first goal for the team in the semi-finals. He’s now the best U-18 scorer in Latin America which just shows how talented he really is.

More and more European clubs especially Real Madrid are paying attention to Mora. His agent Rafaela Pimenta says Real Madrid really wants him, and this could be huge for Mora’s career. But because of FIFA rules Mora has to wait till he’s 18 before he can go to Europe. So he’ll probably stay with Tijuana until January 2027 when he can finally transfer. This gives him more time to get even better in Mexico while he waits to play in European football.
