- The deal is set to run until 30 June 2032.
- He will wear the No 17 shirt.
Marc Cucurella Presented by Real Madrid
Marc Cucurella was welcomed in a formal behind-closed-doors ceremony at Valdebebas, where club president Florentino Pérez received him in the boardroom ahead of his contract signing. Honorary president José Martínez Pirri was also present.
After putting pen to paper, Cucurella was presented with a model of the Santiago Bernabéu and a watch, before posing with his new No 17 shirt. During the presentation, the defender described Real Madrid as the best club in the world.
Cucurella’s Next Step at Real Madrid
Cucurella’s unveiling fits neatly into Real Madrid’s wider summer recruitment, with the left-sided defender becoming the club’s fourth signing of the window. His presentation came after the La Liga campaign had already begun, giving the event slightly unusual timing compared to a standard pre-season introduction.
Real Madrid had already handed Cucurella his debut against Espanyol the previous Saturday. The six-year agreement gives the club another high-quality option on the left side of defence, leaving his immediate role and selection status open as the season takes shape.
