  • Ancelotti’s gonna move to Brazil’s national team in June 2025
  • Real Madrid will need to make some big changes when he leaves
  • Brazil’s Football Confederation really wants Ancelotti as their head coach

Ancelotti’s Move to Brazil

Carlo Ancelotti, the really good Italian manager is gonna leave his job at Real Madrid to become the head coach of the Brazil national team. This is supposed to happen in June 2025, during what’s been a pretty tough season for Real Madrid. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has wanted Ancelotti for ages and they say he’s like the “president’s dream” for the national team. Ancelotti’s done really well at all the big European clubs he’s worked at which is why everyone wants him so bad in international football.

Real Madrid’s Strategic Adjustments

Real Madrid’s gonna have to make a lot of changes after Ancelotti leaves. They’re gonna need to find a new manager and they’re thinking about maybe getting Xabi Alonso to replace him. Right now they’re dealing with their midfielder Eduardo Camavinga being hurt which could mess up how they play in their next games. Also Real Madrid wants to get Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool to make their defense better which shows what they’re trying to do overall.

Implications for Brazil’s National Team

Getting Ancelotti as Brazil’s head coach is part of what the CBF is doing to make their team better before the World Cup qualifiers and other tournaments coming up. Ancelotti’s probably gonna get a contract that’s shorter than 4 years because the CBF wants to get results quick. The Brazilian team thinks Ancelotti’s really good at tactics and leadership and that’ll help them do better internationally.
