Borja Mayoral who plays for Getafe right now might be moving to Rayados in Mexico. Word is that Sergio Ramos, who’s like a huge deal in football, is helping make this happen. If it works out Rayados would get someone who’s played a lot in Europe which would be pretty big for them.
- Borja Mayoral might go play for Rayados in Mexico
- Sergio Ramos is supposedly helping get Mayoral to transfer there
- Getting him would give Rayados someone with lots of European experience
Mayoral’s Career and Achievements
Borja Mayoral, who’s really good at football and from Spain started playing pro at Real Madrid. While he was there he got 3 goals in 22 games in La Liga. He went to a bunch of different teams on loan like Levante and AS Roma, then went to Getafe in 2022 for like 7.5 million euros. Since he got there he’s been super important for Getafe and scored 15 goals in the 2023/24 La Liga season which makes him one of their best scorers.

Sergio Ramos’ Influence
Sergio Ramos who everyone knows from his amazing time at Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain is apparently really helping with getting Borja Mayoral to maybe move to Rayados. Even though he’s not actually doing the transfer stuff himself, the fact that he’s so well connected in football could really help make it happen. Ramos has won like everything there is to win including lots of Champions League trophies and a World Cup so when he talks about football stuff people listen.
Implications for Rayados
If Borja Mayoral ends up going to Rayados it would make their attack way better. Since he knows how to score goals and has played in Europe a lot, he could help them do better in their league. Having someone like Sergio Ramos involved shows how important this could be for Rayados. Looks like they’re trying to get better players from Europe to help them win more stuff coming up.
