Esteban Andrés Solari Poggio, born in Rosario, Argentina, began his professional career with Estudiantes de La Plata in Argentina’s Primera Division. His journey as a striker took him across various countries, where he consistently demonstrated his scoring prowess. Notably, in Mexico with Club Universidad Nacional (Pumas), he netted 25 goals in 40 appearances, leaving a lasting mark in the league. Solari also excelled in Cyprus with APOEL FC, leading the league in goals during the 2006-07 season.
