Juventus emerge as shock contenders to sign Wolves’ versatile attacker
Wolves are once again rumoured to be fighting off interest from another of their top stars, this time from Italian champions Juventus.
According to a report via the Daily Mail, Pedro Neto is wanted by Juventus to link up alongside Portuguese teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Neto only signed a new five-year contract to stay at Molineux in recent weeks, in what is now looking like great timing for Wolves as they are under zero pressure to sell and can demand a big fee for the 20-year-old.
Neto can play on the wings, in central attacking midfield or even as a forward, and that kind of versatility is hard to come by at the very top level – an appealing proposition for Andrea Pirlo’s side.
Should a deal come to fruition, it would likely be next summer at the earliest.
