Has Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘accidentally’ revealed his next transfer target?
Eagle-eyed viewers are analysing footage post-match this past weekend, which apparently shows Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer accidentally revealing a transfer target.
As reported in the Daily Mail, the United boss is seen talking with Bournemouth’s Netherlands international defender Nathan Ake, with viewers pointing out that he tells the Cherries star;
“We need a left-footed centre-back, so keep going.”
Bournemouth’s form suggests a drop back to the Championship is on the cards, after a five-year spell in the English top-flight, if so, Nathan Ake is unlikely to stick around and will covet plenty of attention.
Man Utd are keen to strengthen to cut the gap and possibly mount a challenge next season – a centre-back would be a key addition and Ake would seemingly fit the bill.
Chelsea do have a buy-back option of £40million, so that would pose an issue for Solskjaer should the United boss follow-up on his possible reveal at the weekend.
